Shoppers browse aisles for a particular product and often have to choose between many different options that essentially do the same thing.
So how do they choose one product over another? Is it the colour? The price? The material? Familiar branding? Do they care more about brand loyalty or ensuring the packaging is environmentally friendly?
There is usually too many options and it would take far too long, we prefer to make quick decisions and get on our way. Naturally our brain relies on indicators that allow us to act quickly. Consumers make snap decisions and product packaging may be the deciding factor.
