Girls Not Brides I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for all your hard work and support over the past few weeks with the design and production of the West and Central Africa fact sheet. It looks fabulous. The fact sheet is a really important document which we’ve produced on behalf of a coalition for the High Level Meeting to end Child Marriage in West and Central Africa. The meeting takes place in Senegal next week and, for the very first time, many of the key stakeholders in the region (and beyond) will be present in one place to discuss what action needs to take place to end child marriage. Those attending include the President of Senegal, Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Mabel of the Netherlands (who is also our Board Chair), the First Ladies of Sierra Leone and Mali, various Govt ministers from the UK, Canada, the Netherlands etc, the UN, girls, NGOs, youth, religious and traditional leaders and many, many others. They will each receive a copy of the fact sheet and also further copies will be distributed in the region and beyond. Many thanks again. You’ve been stars.
